1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website, booking system, and services provided by PalmUpLife Accounting Services Inc. (“PalmUpLife,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

PalmUpLife provides accounting, tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to individuals and businesses. The specific scope, deliverables, fees, and timelines for any engagement will be defined in a separate engagement letter or service agreement. Information provided during a discovery call or consultation is general in nature and does not create a professional engagement until a formal agreement is in place.

3. Bookings, Consultations, and Payments

Discovery call (15 min): complimentary, by phone.
Consultation (30 min): complimentary; completion of our intake/KYC questionnaire may be required beforehand.
Deep Dive & Strategy Session (60 min): a paid session. Payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your spot, processed securely via Stripe.
Fees and taxes: Fees for paid sessions are shown at the time of booking. All prices are in Canadian dollars, and applicable GST is added at checkout.
Complimentary sessions — one per client: The discovery call and consultation are each offered once per person or business, as a courtesy to prospective clients. We may decline or cancel a complimentary booking, at our discretion, where that person or business has already used the same session — including where it is booked under a different name, email address, or phone number. If you would like further time, the Deep Dive & Strategy Session below is available to book at any point.
Rescheduling: You may reschedule a booked session yourself using the link in your confirmation email, up to one (1) day before your scheduled start time. Within one day of the session the link is no longer available — please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Refunds & no-shows: If you cancel in advance, or if we reschedule or cancel, your session fee is fully refundable. However, if you do not attend a booked session without prior notice (a “no-show”), the fee is non-refundable. Once you attend a session, the fee is non-refundable.
Existing clients and networking (BNI 1-2-1) bookings may be offered at no charge as indicated at the time of booking.

4. Use of the Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use of the website. You must not misuse this website by introducing viruses or other harmful material, or by attempting to gain unauthorized access.

5. Text (SMS) Messaging

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from PalmUpLife as described in our Privacy Policy. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service. We do not share or sell your mobile number or SMS consent to third parties for their marketing purposes.

6. Confidentiality

We treat client information as confidential and handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable professional standards. Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary or sensitive information shared during an engagement. This obligation survives termination of the engagement.

7. Professional Disclaimer

Content on this website and information shared during complimentary calls or consultations is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute formal accounting, tax, or legal advice on which you should rely. Advice specific to your situation is provided only under a signed engagement. We do not guarantee specific financial outcomes.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of PalmUpLife Accounting Services Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Deliverables prepared for a client become the client’s property upon full payment, unless otherwise specified in the engagement. Pre-existing tools, templates, and methods used by PalmUpLife remain our property.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PalmUpLife shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and complimentary services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as required by law or set out in a signed engagement.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
